Description
Shockwave Medical, Inc. is a pioneer in the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Shockwave Medical aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.
Description
Responsibilities
- Self-direct and prioritize execution of incoming requests for analysis projects.
- Conduct analyses, develop conclusions & communicate recommendations to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
- Create, monitor, support and manage reports and dashboards in Excel, Salesforce, and PowerBI.
- Execute key commercial operations initiatives including compensation, quota, business planning, reporting, territory design and other projects.
- Complete knowledge and full understanding of area of specialization, principles, and practices within discipline.
- Partner with different stakeholders to build and streamline commercial operations processes.
- Support sales, finance, and commercial operations teams by collecting and organizing data to inform and drive decisions.
- Identify needs and develop standardized tools, methodologies, and processes aimed at improving operational efficiency.
- Provide training to other analysts on best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in business/technical field or demonstrated relevant experience. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or other analytical function.
- Experience in medical device or other life sciences industry is a plus.
- PowerBI and Salesforce.com experience preferred.
- Utilizes education and work experience to apply advanced knowledge and expertise to projects and tasks.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities.
- Highly organized with good time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly analytical and able to analyze large sets of data from multiple perspectives to generate conclusions and drive decisions.
- Able to identify & effectively communicate conclusions from analyses to diverse audiences both verbally and in writing.
- Able to determine stakeholder requests and manage ambiguity.
- Able to solve intermediate problems.
Market Range:
San Francisco Bay Area (SFBA) Market Range: $94,000 - $118,000
All Other US Locations (Outside of SFBA): $80,000 - $100,000
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
